We are Tom and Gwen Paton, who recently retired from 12 years of Innkeeping, having owned and operated two separate B&Bs since 1995 – one in Southwest MI and most recently, in Va. We remodeled both turn-of-the-century buildings, turned both businesses around and established ourselves as premier lodging establishments in the area. Both bed and breakfasts were published in magazines, newspapers and won Inn Traveler magazine awards. Who better could you trust with your Bed and Breakfast, than seasoned innkeepers? And, you get two for the price of one – we work as a team! We will, however, work as a single as well. We will travel throughout the US but our primary focus will be on surrounding states of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia as well as here in Tennessee.
As innkeepers in Michigan and Virginia, we hired an innsitter to manage our B&B while we went on some long vacations. We realize how important it is for innkeepers to have time to rest and relax without worrying about your property.

Our 12 year career as innkeepers allowed us to gain knowledge and experience first-hand. We had thousands of wonderful guests, served beautiful breakfasts, mapped out many a day trip, fluffed pillows, cleaned rooms, fixed a leaky faucet or whatever it took. Plus, we are computer savvy innkeepers.
Prior to our Innkeeping days which began in 1995, Gwen was in office management and Tom owned and managed a bar and restaurant in the Colorado mountains for 12 years with a combined total of 25 years in the hopspitality industry.
As an award-winning advanced amatuer photographer, Gwen can photograph your property with an artistic eye and create beautiful photographs for your website. Call for reasonable rates.
